Welcome to Boule Consulting!

I've lived in Central PA

and worked in the non-profit sector for over 25 years!

Hi, I’m Jeff

I bring more than 25 years of nonprofit and leadership experience, including the past 16 years serving as Executive Director of the national nonprofit The Marriage Hub.

My passion is helping leaders and organizations navigate real-world challenges—drawing from experience with boards, succession planning, capital campaigns, sustainable fundraising, financial models, and the complex relational dynamics that shape leadership.

My approach is rooted in the belief that healthy organizations start with healthy leadership. I specialize in helping leaders and boards navigate the often-turbulent waters of real-world organizational challenges, moving beyond theory to implement practical, sustainable solutions.

Beyond the Professional

At Boulē Consulting, we believe that leadership is a journey of discernment. The weight of responsibility—whether in a non-profit or a business—requires more than just quick fixes or standard formulas. It requires Boulē: the Greek concept of thoughtful counsel and purposeful deliberation.

Based in Harrisburg, PA, I am committed to serving the Greater Central PA area and beyond. My work is shaped by my faith in Jesus Christ, which anchors my values of integrity, humility, and service. While my background is faith-based, I work with a wide range of leaders, respecting each organization’s unique mission and culture.

My Journey & The "Boulē" Philosophy

The name Boulē is deeply personal to me. It was inspired by my father, Dr. Harold Kime, who taught Biblical studies and Greek at Lancaster Bible College. He taught me that words are windows into deeper meaning. To him, and now to me, Boulē represents a posture: a commitment to slowing down, paying attention, and wrestling thoughtfully with the path forward.

Throughout my two and a half decades in leadership, I have applied this posture to:

  • Navigating Complex Boards: Moving from friction to alignment and trust.

  • Financial Stewardship: Leading successful capital campaigns and building sustainable, donor-centric financial models.

  • Succession Planning: Ensuring organizations thrive long after a leadership transition.

  • Relational Dynamics: Managing the human element of leadership with maturity and grace.

Should we work together?
